embracing star-dust dreams

Falling home in his arms
without resistance
stretching beyond desire
His voice lingers on my name
as if clinging to each letter

Touch is found in a rush of air-
brushing against hungry skin
Melting stones beneath his feet
and floating on silver pavement
Heartbeat against heartbeat
a thousand moments refracting time

Feathered wings sing of the sun
murmured in dawn’s waking
His gaze, mirroring my eyes enchantment
Breathing one more scent of him within-
a chapter of purpose embossed
